Business Partner Solutions was created in 2005 by CEO, Katherine Bluma, and remains the only woman-owned security organization in the southwest. We are a Global Enterprise, Information Security organization delivering comprehensive solutions in the emerging but proven space of emerging tech. Our goal is to empower enterprises to achieve a business enabled defense-in-depth security posture, manage corporate risk, improve compliance, and attain proactive detection and prevention of security threats to their computing infrastructure, data, and applications.

What We Do

We assist our clients in making technology purchases that are optimized to meet their particular business requirements around risk, security, governance, and compliance.

BPS maintains up-to-date, detailed knowledge of the IT security industry including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes, and the development of new attacks and threat vectors. We aggregate this information, document the potential impact, and educate our clients.

BPS will recommend additional enhancements to governance and security solutions, which will improve overall enterprise compliance and security initiative standards.

Katherine Bluma

Founder & CEO

Katherine Bluma is the founder of Business Partner Solutions, an organization focused on solving difficult security and compliance problems by delivering world-class solutions. Katherine has demonstrated leadership roles in IT for public, private, non-profit, and government organizations. Katherine’s involvement throughout the organization is reflected by her being placed on retainer as a subject matter expert, sought out for different board positions, and part of early stage development for emerging technology organizations. The most valuable asset is her ability to think outside the box and correctly evaluate the demands of the ever-changing market.

With over 20 plus years in building leading edge security products and services, Allan Thompson is the Chief Revenue Officer and Trusted Advisor for Business Partner Solutions, Inc., a women- owned and operated Federal Small Business. Business Partner Solutions, Inc. was formed with the purpose of bringing together our clients with Best-in-Class cybersecurity solutions for enterprise and federal customers. Throughout Allan’s career, he has been an executive sales leader building and driving global sales, business development and channel sales teams representing next-generation security solutions firms for global enterprise and federal customers. At Trend Micro, he joined them with less than $20M in revenue driving them to $500M in revenue over four years of growth resulting in their 1999 IPO and over $7B market cap today. In addition to Trend Micro, Allan was very instrumental with two key acquisitions by McAfee with the purchase of IntruVert Networks for $100M, a pioneer and leader of Intrusion Prevention Systems, and Reconnex, a leader of Network Data Loss Prevention for $65M. Both of these acquired solutions have generated over $2B in revenue for McAfee since 2003 and 2008. Most recently, Allan was instrumental in the sale of Zenedge by Oracle, a leading Software As A Service provider for WAF, BOTNETS, and DDoS. The key to Allan’s success has been the focus of embracing global channel partners to extend his sales team and reach to his customers. This strategy was awarded in 2012 by CRN magazine as a Channel Chief Award Recipient. Allan received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California in 1989.

Joe Marino is the Senior Vice President and Trusted Advisor for the Federal Sector of Business Partner Solutions, Inc., a woman-owned and operated Federal Small Business. Over 25+ years, Joe has achieved success in the Federal DoD, Civilian and Intel space as a Sales Director, Vice President and General Manager across both small 8a and large Fortune 500 information technology companies like NCR, Sybase, Vignette, SAIC, and Lexmark. Joe has experience is delivering cutting edge solutions across a multitude of Information and security technologies including; Client/Server, data warehouse, Databases, networks/routers, Business Intelligence, Web portal and content mgmt.; Cyber Security and SaaS-based solutions; and managing GSA, 508, FIPS, FISMA fedRAMP government contracts and certifications. In Joe’s most recent 3-year position as Federal Sales Director for Cellebrite, a mobile data extraction and analysis company, Joe was the top Sales Director in the company in his first year with over $10M in sales with key federal Dept. of Justice agencies like FBI, DEA, ATF, US Marshals Service and also Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Canada. In his last year at Cellebrite Joe directed and completed two major multi-year contract awards from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA); a 5-year $10 M BPA with partner Carahsoft for all Cellebrite cyber security products and 5-year $7M direct training contract for all Cellebrite products. Over his 3 years with Cellebrite Joe delivered over $25M is sales and new business accounts and helped double Federal Sector annual sales and increase footprint across many federal agencies. Joe attributes his success to focusing on the customers’ needs and requirements and delivering the right solutions and services directly and thru key technology channel partners and distributors.
